[Poached Pears - Lê Hầm Rượu Chát]

Poached Pears is a simple and easy to make dish however the flavour is super. The pear should be very soft and have the fragant of the cinamon. However you can choose other spices instead of cinamon if you like. Glove is fine but you have to be carefull with the amount because it has strong fragant.

Serves: 3

  • 3 pears, peeled
  • 1/2 bottle red wine
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick, slightly broken

Cooking Method:

  1. Add the pear, red wine, sugar and cinnamon into a large pan. Bring to boil and reduce the heat to medium. Simering for about 1 hour.
  2. Poach pear serve well with ice cream.
