[Summer Savoury Fruits Salad - Sà Lách Mặn Trái Cây]

Ingredients:

Servers: 2

  • 200g beef, thinly sliced
  • 5-7 pancetta slices
  • 2 eggs, cooked and cut each into eight segments
  • 100-150g strawberry, cut into quarters
  • 2 riped figs, cut into quarters
  • 1 small yellow pepper, cut into julliens
  • 1 small gem lettuce, cut into strips with the width of 2-3cm
  • 6cm cucumber, thinly sliced and cut each slice into halves

Dressing:

  • 1 tablespoons red wine
  • 1 and 1/2 balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Teriyaki Marinade:

  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 rice vinegar
  • 1/3 teaspoon sugar

Cooking Method:

  1. Marinate the beef with the teriyaki sauce for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the frying pan until medium hot. Dry fry the pancetta until they turn crispy both sides.
  3. Mix the strawberry, figs and sugar into a small bowl. Put it to one side.
  4. Heat up a griddle with 1 tablespoon of oil until very hot. Fry the marinated beef in the griddle for 1-2 minutes until it turns dark brown. Put it to one side.
  5. Mix all salad ingredients(apart from the cooked beef and eggs) with the dressing.
  6. Serves the salad with the cooked beef and eggs.
