  • 150g glutinous rice
  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Cooking Method:

  1. Preheat a large pan of 1 litre of water and 200ml coconut milk + 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt + 4 tablespoons of sugar. Bring to boil and add the rice into the pan. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and keep the rice. Divide the rice into six equal portions.
  3. Squeeze each rice portion form stickiness of the rice. Wash your hand so the rice will not stick to your hand rather than the banana. Flat the sticky rice portion you just made and apply on to one banana portion. Repeat this step for the rest of the bananas.

While the bananas is grilling, preheat a medium pan with the rest of the coconut sauce + salt + sugar.
  5. Cook this sauce for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is thicken.
  6. Toast the sesame seed in a frying pan for 2-3 minutes before serving.
